Build interlocking joints for eight-sided projects
The PROMASTERTOOL™ 2-Piece Lock Miter Tenon Router Bit Set combines two complementary 22.5° cutting profiles with 1/2" (12.7 mm) shanks. Shape matching edges for octagonal assemblies and woodworking glue joints.
A matched pair for both sides of the joint
One cutter forms a projecting wood profile; the other forms the matching recess. The shaped edges fit together to help position adjoining pieces during assembly. The example below shows how these joints connect an eight-sided wooden assembly.
Purpose-built cutting profiles
The set features hard-alloy cutting material, a yellow cutter body and a cylindrical steel shank. The close-up below shows the cutting edges and stepped profile. Use each bit with a router equipped with the correct 1/2" collet.
